The Chokling Arthouse is in such a prime location, right across from the beautiful Chokling Monastery, and the views from there are absolutely breathtaking. As a solo traveler, I booked the dorm and let me tell you, it's so spacious! And the staff? Super sweet! I would totally recommend this place, especially since I've been to Bir a few times and it's my go-to spot now. Plus, everything you need is nearby. Oh, and did I mention how it's filled with all kinds of cool art? The whole building is like a tribute to the amazing artists who've painted there. Trust me, it's worth checking out!

Everything is so lovely about this place.... We stayed in terrace room with mountain view. This place is close to all good cafes and landing site. It's right in front of beautiful chokling monastery. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Their silk route cafe is quite costly so we preferred to eat in outside cafes.

One of a kind place. With surprisingly decent rooms which are well maintained! The host is really friendly! One of the best places to stay in Bir!

A wonderful place, very quiet , just in front one of the most beautiful monastery of Bir, where I spent more than 10 days. Great large room with view, sunny bathroom, very friendly people, specially Sayyad who helped me to book a taxi and shared with me his best adresses and advices. Great restaurant on top floor , delicious breakfast and dinner. My home in Bir!

Stayed here for 2 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed my time here. It has a magnificent view of the Chokling Monastery just outside the hotel. The staff was always pleasant and helpful, especially Mitanshu. He gave wonderful hotel accommodations, advice, and recommendations of nearby cafes, restaurants, and attractions. I couldn’t be more grateful to him and the rest of the hotel staff, highly recommend staying here!

This is not a good hotel to stay with family. Mostly backpackers in this hotel and the place is very noisy. Will not recommend anybody to stay in this hotel. If you are looking for peace and calm atmosphere, then avoid this place. My experience was not good. The hotel is in the premises of Monastery but it is not run by monastery people. The staff is not that good and not professional. So, avoid this place. I booked for 4 nights but could not stay for even one night. Hence, will not recommend this place. Avoid it.

As a first time solo traveller, I felt more secure and adventurous. Being an artist this place is my abode for creativity. The view, food, timely help is what we enjoy staying here. I'm gonna bring my friends here soon..Highly recommend

I stayed here for four days in Sep '23. The manager upgraded me to a deluxe view room. The rooms are aesthetic and comfortable. The hotel has good views, is quiet, and spacious. It's good for working. It's also located close to the main road and walking from landing site.
